Ingredients
- 1 kg beef
- 2 cups onions chopped
- 1 cup yogurt
- 10 green chilies
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- salt to taste
- 1 packet biryani spice mix
- 3 cups rice
- 1 cup cooking oil
Instructions
- First, wash the meat. Then, in a pot, heat 1 cup of soybean oil. Fry the chopped onions. Set aside some fried onions for garnishing and continue frying the rest with all the spices.
- Then, add the meat in between and stir well.
- Then, add water and cook the meat.
- Next, remove the meat and add the soaked rice to the pot, and fry. Add the required amount of water and cook the rice.
- Now, take out the partially cooked meat and place it on top of the rice. Keep it covered with a lid and let it cook for 15 minutes.
- Finally, add the reserved fried onions and 1 tablespoon of ghee on top.
