Ingredients
- 4 pcs potato
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- ½ cup fried onions
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ½ cup fresh coriander leaves
- 2 boiled eggs
- 1 egg for coating the chops
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Boil the potatoes and mash them.
- Fry the chopped onions in oil until golden brown.
- Add the fried onions and oil to the mashed potatoes.
- Add the spices, salt, and cilantro to the mixture and mix well.
- Divide the mixture into even portions.
- Roll each portion into an oval shape and make a hollow in the center.
- Add a wedge of hard-boiled egg and close up the mixture, making sure the egg is fully covered. Gently form into a barrel shape.
- Repeat step 7 with the remaining portions.
- Beat an egg in a bowl.
- Take some bread crumbs in a plate.
- Coat each alu chop with beaten egg, then roll it onto the bread crumbs. Repeat the process.
- Deep fry the alur chop until golden brown.
- Serve hot with your favorite dip or sauce.
