Ingredients

  • 1 pcs large bunch of dandelion greens or any greens, chopped
  • 3-4 pcs garlic cloves, chopped
  • ½ pcs large onion, sliced
  • 1 pcs dried red chili
  • 2 pcs green chili
  • ½ tsp salt to taste
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 4 cups water
Sauteed Dandelion Greens prep

Instructions

  • Wash the greens in a strainer bowl
  • In a pot, boil water on high heat for about 8 minutes. Add the greens and boil for about 5 minutes. Put the greens back in the strainer.
  • In a large frying pan, saute onion, garlic, and green and red chili on medium-high heat for about 5 minutes. Wait for the onions to soften up.
  • Add the greens to the frying pan and sprinkle turmeric powder and salt to taste.
  • Saute the mix for 6-8 minutes on high heat.
  • Close the lid and cook for another 5 minutes on high heat for the spices to get infused with the greens.
  • Sauteed Dandelion greens are served!
