- 150 g undercut/tenderloin meat
- 1-2 tomatoes chopped
- 1 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/4 tbsp salt or as needed
- 1/2 lemon juiced
- 2-4 red chili chopped
- 60 g carrot strips
- Bunch coriander chopped
- 70 g romaine lettuce cored and chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
Place red chilies, cilantro leaves, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and fish sauce in a food processor. Process for a couple of seconds to make a roughly chopped dressing.
Then transfer to a bowl and set aside.
Season the beef with salt and ground black pepper; sear the beef on all sides in a hot pan with oil.
Remove from the pan and let it rest for a couple of minutes before slicing across the grain.
To assemble, place chopped romaine lettuce, carrot strips, tomatoes, sliced beef in a serving bowl.
Drizzle with the prepared Thai dressing and mix well. Serve.
