  • Peel the bottle gourd, remove the seeds, and grate it.
  • Squeeze the grated bottle gourd using a strainer to remove excess water.
  • Heat a pan and add ghee. Once the ghee is hot, add the cardamom pods.
  • Lightly fry the cardamom and then add the grated bottle gourd.
  • Cook well until the water from the bottle gourd evaporates.
  • Once the water has dried up, add jaggery and mix well.
  • When the mixture becomes sticky, add powdered milk and rice flour, and stir continuously.
  • In a separate pan, lightly fry the nuts in a little ghee until they are half broken.
  • Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool. Then mix in the crushed nuts.
  • Grease your hands with a little ghee and take small portions of the mixture. Shape them into laddus, decorating each with a raisin.
  • This quantity will yield 8-10 laddus, sufficient for 4-5 people.
