First, wash the meat. Then, in a pot, heat 1 cup of soybean oil. Fry the chopped onions. Set aside some fried onions for garnishing and continue frying the rest with all the spices.
Then, add the meat in between and stir well.
Then, add water and cook the meat.
Next, remove the meat and add the soaked rice to the pot, and fry. Add the required amount of water and cook the rice.
Now, take out the partially cooked meat and place it on top of the rice. Keep it covered with a lid and let it cook for 15 minutes.
Finally, add the reserved fried onions and 1 tablespoon of ghee on top.
