In a blender, blend two teaspoons of yellow mustard, two teaspoons of brown mustard, two green chilies, and a sufficient amount of water.
In a separate bowl, mix the blended spice mixture with four teaspoons of onion paste, one teaspoon of turmeric powder, one teaspoon of red chilli powder, a sufficient amount of water, and salt according to taste.
Heat mustard oil in a pan and add the spice mixture to it. Stir well.
Add the Hilsa fish, marinated with the spice mixture, and cover it with a few green chilies.
Cook on medium heat for 5-6 minutes.
Remove from heat and serve.
