Yellow Squash and Spinach Sauté

Heat oil in frying pan on medium high. Add onions, garlic and green chili.
Add turmeric powder once onions are golden brown and saute for about 5 minutes
Add squash and sauté for 5 minutes on medium high. Add 1/2 water and saute for 10 minutes.
Add chopped spinach and salt. Sauté for another 5 minutes on medium high heat.
Add another 1/4 cup water. Close the lid and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes.
Check if the squash is cooked properly. Sauté a little bit more if you want the gravy completely soaked out.
Garnish with fried onions
