Marinate the beef with garlic paste, ginger paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and some oil for 30 minutes.
Heat a pan and add some oil to it. Add chopped onion to it. Fry until brown.Add cinnamon, cardamom and bay leaf.
Add the marinated beef to the pan. Cover the pan with a lid and cook on medium heat for 30 minutes
Add 2 cups of warm water. Cook on low flame until the beef is tender.
Cut the spinach into medium size. Add them to the pan and cook for 15 minutes.Serve hot with rice.
