Ingredients

  • 1 kg beef (cut into thin pieces)
  • 1 cup of chopped onions
  • 1 tbsp of ginger paste
  • 1/2 cup papaya paste
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of mustard oil
  • 3 tbsp of powdered dry chili
  • 4 sticks of cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp of black pepper
  • 2 tbs of cumin seeds
  • 4 pcs large cardamom pods
  • 8 pcs cloves
  • 6/7 pcs small cardamom pods
  • 5/6 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of saffron
  • 2 teaspoon of poppy seeds
  • 5/6 pcs almonds
  • 1 teaspoon of dried rose petals
  • 3/4 pcs bay leaves
  • All the ingredients from number 8 to number 19 need to be ground into a paste.

Instructions

  • First, cut the meat and wash it thoroughly in running water so that there is no water left.
  • In a large bowl, marinate the meat with onion paste, papaya paste, crushed garlic, salt, and oil.
  • Add all other paste spices. Mix well and let it rest for a while.
  • Then, add some chili powder and mix again. When the meat is tender, it is ready to be grilled.
  • Make sure the meat is cut into small, even pieces and there are no fatty parts left.
  • Thread the meat onto skewers and grill them until they are red and slightly crispy. Serve hot with freshly baked naan bread.
