- 1 kg beef (cut into thin pieces)
- 1 cup of chopped onions
- 1 tbsp of ginger paste
- 1/2 cup papaya paste
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of mustard oil
- 3 tbsp of powdered dry chili
- 4 sticks of cinnamon
- 1 tbsp of black pepper
- 2 tbs of cumin seeds
- 4 pcs large cardamom pods
- 8 pcs cloves
- 6/7 pcs small cardamom pods
- 5/6 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of saffron
- 2 teaspoon of poppy seeds
- 5/6 pcs almonds
- 1 teaspoon of dried rose petals
- 3/4 pcs bay leaves
- All the ingredients from number 8 to number 19 need to be ground into a paste.
First, cut the meat and wash it thoroughly in running water so that there is no water left.
In a large bowl, marinate the meat with onion paste, papaya paste, crushed garlic, salt, and oil.
Add all other paste spices. Mix well and let it rest for a while.
Then, add some chili powder and mix again. When the meat is tender, it is ready to be grilled.
Make sure the meat is cut into small, even pieces and there are no fatty parts left.
Thread the meat onto skewers and grill them until they are red and slightly crispy. Serve hot with freshly baked naan bread.
