Marinate the beef with all the marinade ingredients except chopped onions for at least 4-5 hours.
Then heat oil in a pan and fry dried red chilies and Panch Phoron (Bengali 5-spice mix)
Add chopped onions and fry until golden brown.
Add marinated beef and stir-fry well until it's well cooked. If the meat is not tender, add some hot water.
When the meat is cooked and the water is dried up, add green chilies and Jolpai pickle and stir-fry for another 4-5 minutes.
Finally, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
