Cut the dry Bamla fish into small pieces and wash it with warm water properly ( Change the water 3 times to clean it properly)
Add 1 tsp of oil to a pan and fry the small pieces of fish for 5-8 minutes.
Heat another pan and add mustard oil. Add some chopped onion and fry it until soft.
Add garlic paste and ginger paste and fry it for 1-2 minutes.
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and 1 cup of warm water.
Add the chopped potato and cook it on medium heat for 5-10 minutes.
Add the fried dry Bamla fish and mix it with the spices and potatoes properly. After mixing, add 2 cups of warm water to it.
Cover the pan with a lid and cook it for 20-30 minutes.
