Cut the chicken into regular pieces, and wash it properly.
Cut the pineapple into small pieces and turn it into a paste using a blender.
Marinate the chicken pieces with turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, garlic paste, and ginger paste for 30 mins. Don't forget to cover it with plastic wrap and keep it in the refrigerator.
Heat the oil in a pan (Set over medium-high heat) and add onion. Fry the onion until it turns golden brown.
Add pineapple paste to it and cook for 5 minutes.
Add the marinated chicken and cook it for 5-10 mins.
Add cinnamon and cardamom powder.
Add salt and sugar as per taste.
Add 1 cup of boiled water and cover the pan with a lead. Cook it for 20-25 mins.
Make sure that the meat is tender to bite. Serve with bread, white rice, or fried rice, and enjoy your meal.
